By using our website & engaging in our services you are in turn accepting our terms & conditions.

 
 

Securing your date

Your date is not locked in until you pay your deposit. By paying your deposit you are taking this date away from another potential client which, means in the unfortunate event of a cancellation this deposit is non-refundable. This amount will be taken from your total and final balance.

 

Finalizing your balance

The amount owed needs to be finalized the month before your wedding or event. Failure to do so will be considered a termination in agreement and will result in no product delivery. Payments can be made with a bank transfer.

 

Cancellations

Any cancellations will need to be addressed in email and as soon as possible to avoid any further ordering or preparations for your event or wedding.

Should you need another date this will be subject to date availability with a minimum of two months given otherwise 50% of final amount of event or wedding will be owed to vendor.

 

Changes to orders

All changes need to be in writing and sent to info.petalsociety@gmail.com this needs to be responded to by us in writing to show that we have received the changes and have actioned your request.

Petal society takes no responsibility for requests we have not received and or responded to via email.

Major changes can be made to your quote up to 6 weeks prior to your date, minor changes such as adding buttonholes, signage flowers etc can be made but unfortunately we can not make major changes within this time.

 

Product selection

Petal Society reserves the right to select flowers according to availability of flowers & foliages at the flower markets. This may mean substituting flowers of preference in order to make a design that is fresh, lasting or provide the best standards of our work possible. Flowers are seasonal and are subject to shortages in certain varieties due to many various reasons including natural disasters etc. which means flowers we may have planned on adding to your designs may not be available and it can simply be out of our control. We really appreciate your understanding of this and genuinely do our best to meet & match the colour schemes, styles and aesthetics of your day.

 

Arbors

It is the responsibility of the clients to ensure the outsourced arbors or vessels are available within responsible time for us to construct and develop our designs effectively and in a timely manner before your ceremony begins. We do not take responsibility for any delay in delivering or setting up of outsourced Arbors.

 

Venue requirements

It is the responsibility of the client to provide Petal Society with an up to date copy of the rules & regulations particular to their venue. This is a requirement for any event.

 

Photo Release

By engaging in our services you are consenting/allowing Petal Society to use the photos for our business in the way we see fit and in the manner of advertising or promoting our business or services. Petal Society can use & publish photographs of all flowers, people and decor for our website, advertising, trade & editorials in any means to promote our business. Petal Society may collect photos & videos documenting your wedding or event to document and share them for advertising/promoting purposes. Petal Society will require a list of your vendors from you so we can credit your contracted vendors for their work. Sharing the media from your event helps us to generate further bookings/business and allows us to network with other vendors, venues and future couples.

 

Change in fees & Floral Pricing

Petal Society reserves the right to alter/change servicing fees for the specific requirements of your day. Your servicing fees are constructed on your indivudual needs and information supplied e.g site locations, bump in & bump out times, amount of staff required, hours worked by staff, travel to and from the markets and the amount of market visits, changes to delivery or Ceremony & Reception addresses. Adding of more floral designs will also alter these fees and will vary from couple to couple and the specific designs requested.

Pricing of floral designs will be dependant on availability, public holidays and will increase or decrease with requests driven by the clients.

Petal Society reserves the right to adjust your designs or quotes final amount owed based on these reasons listed.

Quoting

It is the responsibility of the clients using petal society’s services to refer to their quotes as checklists to ensure all of their required designs or hire items are itemized on their quotes. Petal Society is not responsible for any items or designs that are not listed on the agreed quotes.

Double check and triple check your quotes (checklists).

 

Changing Terms

Petal Society reserves the right to change/alter any and all terms & Conditions at any time. These amendments are effective immediately once published to our terms & Conditions. Any use of this site or our services indicate you have accepted these terms and conditions and the amendments made. We reserve the right to make any changes to this site or our services at any given time.

 

Our items & their return

All of our vases, vessels, arbors, napkins, candle bases and any other items used for your event should all be returned in their original condition upon bump out/end of event. Lost or damaged/broken items will need to be replaced by the client using our services.

 

Weather & other Elements

Weather & other Elements

Petal Society does not accept responsibility for the effects caused by weather extremities. Having your wedding outdoors can expose your wedding blooms to heat, wind, rain etc. Like you, we cannot control the weather & the delicate nature of flowers means that they are vulnerable in these conditions.

We do however do our very best to maintain them before delivering them to your care. We cannot take accountability for flowers once we have left your venue or in the event of weather extremities as highlighted damage or effect the quality of your flowers. We will do our absolute best to help you if for any reason an issue occurs. We have a great understanding in the care of flowers and will do our best to give you information on this as we drop our flowers to you but please do ask any questions you may have in regards to this also.
